Description
Article gives biographical information about British composer Michael Tippett, to accompany an exhibit of his memorabilia in the Eugene McDermott Library, Special Collections department. Tippett made a personal appearance at UTD for a free concert as part of the Cecil H. and Ida M. Green Distinguished Lecture Series. A photo at the head of the article shows Dr. Alexander Clark, Sir Michael Tippett and Merion Bowen in conversation at the opening of the exhibit on January 8.
