Dr. Kroener is the head of the Cellular and Synaptic Physiology Lab. The lab's research focus is the neuronal circuitry of the prefrontal cortex that underlies higher-order cognitive functions. He is particularly interested in discovering how alterations in synaptic transmission might be related to schizophrenia and drug addiction.
