The Wineburgh Philatelic Research Library (WPRL) was founded in 1976 by the late Harold Wineburgh to provide access to a dynamic collection of materials about stamps, stamp collecting, and postal history.
Since its founding, the WPRL has grown into one of the finest philatelic libraries in the country, with a collection of thousands of books and periodical volumes. The library maintains subscriptions to over 100 current philatelic journals, and collects many older journal titles as well. The library also collects catalogs (including the Scott Catalog) and a growing selection of post office publications and reports.
Permission to publish material from this collection in any form, current or future, must be obtained from the Special Collections Department, Eugene McDermott Library, The University of Texas at Dallas.
