Jesse Birdus Walton flew for both Civil Air Transport and Air America. An active member of the Air America Club, Walton was instrumental in the creation of the CAT/Air America memorial plaque at The University of Texas at Dallas Special Collections Department. He took responsibility for assembling the names of those who lost their lives while working for CAT and Air America. Jesse was employed with CAT and Air America from 16 May 1957 to 22 September 1974 when he retired. At the time of his retirement, Walton was stationed in Saigon as captain in the Fixed wing Division.
