Aage Møller is a Founders Professor and Distinguished Lecturer in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. In 2011 He received the President's Teaching Excellence Award and gave the Polykarp Kusch Lecture in 2012. His research interests include:
- Sensory systems, mainly hearing
- Systems neuroscience focusing on disorders of the nervous system
- Neural plasticity in general and especially in the auditory system and its role in disorders that have tinnitus, hyperacusis and chronic pain as symptoms.
- Autism
- The involvement of non-classical auditory pathways
