Upper left: transport plane that brought Doolittle Raiders from China to India, with Giraffe; upper right: bewildered Chinese natives of village near where bomber crashed, seeing their first white man; lower left: Doolittle Raiders and Chinese soldiers with parasols; lower right: Japanese fighting ship sighted by fliers, enroute to Tokyo and promptly sunk to prevent spreading alarm.
