Abstract

Dr. Brian A. Tinsley is a Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Texas at Dallas. He was born in New Zealand and earned a PhD in Physics in 1963. That same year, he joined the precursor institution to UT Dallas, the Southwest Center for Advanced Studies (SCAS) as a research associate. He continued his work at UT Dallas and retired from teaching in 2011, but as of 2013 he continues to conduct research through the William B. Hanson Center for Space Sciences Center. He graciously chose to answer a few questions for the UT Dallas University Archives in August 2013.
