A nanochannel-based electrochemical sensor for the detection of trace amounts of erythromycin has been developed. The sensor is capable of specifically detecting erythromycin, at a sensitivity of 0.001 parts per trillion, in various water samples and has potential utility in the assessment of environmental water quality.en_US
