dc.descriptionA collection of 300 mineral types and over 1000 specimens that had been donated to the Geosciences program was on display in Special Collections in October 1985. The items had been donated to UTD by the Williamson family in memory of their parents, John and Eva, who had built the collection. The article includes a picture of a patron examining some of the gems and minerals on display.en_US
