Front view of a damaged starboard side wing of a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress airplane, tail number 42-97296. Captions from the back of the photograph reads: "Taxied into a crane. Right outboard wing panel damaged at sta. 23 No. 5 bulkhead severely twisted. Numerous gusset plates and stringers torn loose in bomb bay section. Left inboard wing panel twisted at sta. 1.
