Dr. Chabal holds the Texas Instruments Distinguished University Chair in Nanoelectronics. He serves as professor of Materials Science & Engineering and Physics and department head of Materials Science & Engineering Texas Instruments Distinguished University Chair in Nanoelectronics. His current interests are centered on surface chemical functionalization of semiconductor and oxide surfaces, atomic layer deposition, organic electronics, biosensors and H2 storage materials.
