Michael Rugg is Professor and holds the Distinguished Chair in Behavioral and Brain Sciences. He also serves as the Co-Director of the Center for Vital Longevity and is the head of the fNIM (Functional Neuro-Imaging of Memory) Laboratory. His research interests include the cognitive and neural bases of memory encoding and retrieval, as well as how and why memory function differs as a result of healthy aging or neurological disease.
